What does it do for me? - With +30 skill points with a single piece of armor, there's no other head piece that will let you stretch out your template. If you're hurting for skill points, you'll want to use this.
How do I get it? - This drops in paragon chests in ilshenar, level 5 treasure chests, and loot fro Leviathan.
Anything else I should know? - This item spawns without the Blessed property. You'll have to use a Clothing Bless Deed on it.Hat of the Magi
What does it do for me? - I consider Meditation and Focus a waste on a thief. You're not going to be battling it out with mages for extended periods of time. You just need a reasonable amount of mana regen to refill your mana after spurts of action. From deathstrikes & infection strikes while you're murdering someone or from animal form, mirror images, and shadow jumps while you're making a get-a-way. The INT increase is always good and the total resists are very good.
How do I get it? - This only drops from the Dark Father in Doom. Even before they gave the Dark Father necromancer spells (which made it all but impossible), the only artifact I ever got was a Bone Crusher. You're better off building up some cash and buying from someone else.
Anything else I should know? - Make sure you get a hat that is ice white (not just luna white). It's brighter, they're worth more, and... it looks better. This item also needs a Clothing Bless Deed used on it... but really, these days, I've yet to see one that hasn't had a deed used on it already.Helm of Spirituality
What does it do for me? - Standard blessed piece of armor. Nothing too special. You're better off using a Burglar's Bandana.
How do I get it? - One of the rewards you get to choose from either an 8th Age Token or Heritage Token.
Anything else I should know? - It comes blessed and is part of the Virtue Armor Set.Philosopher's Hat
What does it do for me? - One of the rare blessed pieces of armor with LRC. This is the only reason you should consider using this piece. If you still have your Personal Bless Deed, you can bless an Armor of Fortune, equip a 16% LRC spellbook, and you're already up to 62% LRC -- and all blessed.
How do I get it? - Complete the meditation newbie quest in New Haven.

What does it do for me? - I'd only recommend this if you expected doing lots of assassinating. The HCI 15% will help a lot. Together with the 20 STR and decent resists, it makes it a worthy piece of armor.
How do I get it? - Again, an Doom Guantlet drop only. Save some cash and buy from someone else.
Anything else I should know? - Nope.
